Sanctuary, Strength and Slow Style.

A deeper dive into our London Fashion Week SS26 experience. We are proud to bring to the runway a capsule collection, one we hope was grounded in protection, elegance and purpose.

Shown as part of Oxford Fashion Studio’s 10th Anniversary showcase at Devonshire Square, the SS26 collection resisted fleeting trends in favour of something far more enduring: clothing as sanctuary.

A Philosophy of Elegance and Empowerment

Dedicated to slow, ethical style and elegance, InVintaged seeks to uplift and celebrate women through garments inspired by past style icons, with particular reference to the timeless sophistication of the 1920s and 1930s.

At the heart of the brand is a belief that clothing can be both practical and powerful. One of the few things we all share as humans is the need to get dressed each day; InVintaged embraces this ritual as an opportunity to make a statement, to move through the world with confidence, grace, and perhaps a quiet touch of devilry.

The brand exists to celebrate all bodies, all ages, and all stages of womanhood, however that may be defined, empowering each wearer to embrace their own unique style journey.

Five Designs, One Protective Language

The SS26 capsule is composed of five considered designs, unified by a sculptural black base dress and transformed through interchangeable overlay forms.

Each piece centres on clean, architectural lines and a softly draped silhouette that skims the body rather than constraining it. Over this foundation, distinct shoulder-cape overlays introduce variation and expression:

  • Bold yet composed colourways — cobalt blue, aqua, coral and crimson

  • A final look featuring a printed long-sleeve overlay, offering movement and visual depth

Rather than producing excess, the collection offers versatility and longevity — pieces designed to evolve with the wearer and adapt across moments, moods and occasions.

Caim: Clothing as Sanctuary

The SS26 collection is anchored in the concept of “Caim” — a word from Scottish Gaelic meaning an invisible circle of protection.

Traditionally, a caim is drawn physically or imagined around the body as a reminder of being safe, loved and held, particularly in the darkest of times. For InVintaged, this idea becomes wearable.

Each overlay, consisting of an unbroken circle (a literal caim), acts as a gentle shield — wrapping, protecting and fortifying the wearer without restricting. The lines are deliberately simple and clean, drawn around the body to celebrate rather than conceal, empowering the wearer through quiet strength rather than spectacle.

This collection is intended as sanctuary for those who do not always see themselves represented in the fashion world — a reminder that clothing can be both armour and affirmation.

Ethical by Design

Remaining true to our values, InVintaged continues to honour its commitment to sustainability and ethics through:

  • Sourcing vintage and deadstock fabrics

  • A made-to-order business model, reducing waste and overproduction

  • Timeless designs intended for repeated wear, not seasonal disposal

The minimalist silhouettes, echoing the fluid, often gender-neutral elegance of the 1920s, reflect the brand’s desire to embrace anyone seeking refuge, expression and confidence through what they wear.

A Quietly Defining Moment

At London Fashion Week SS26, InVintaged did not chase attention — it earned it through intention. In a global fashion landscape defined by speed and spectacle, the collection stood as a reminder that true impact often lies in restraint.

InVintaged offered something rare on the runway:
stillness, sanctuary, and style that endures.
