London Fashion Week

Welcome to CAIM - From Scottish/Gaelic, it means “sanctuary” - an invisible circle of protection drawn around the body with the hand. It is there to remind you that you are safe and loved, even in the darkest of times.

This was the idea behind my recent capsule collection show at London Fashion Week, with the support of the fabulous team at Oxford Fashion Studio.

The “caim”, from Scottish Gaelic, is an invisible circle of protection drawn around the body either physically or in one’s imagination. It is done as a reminder of being safe and loved in the darkest of times; it is sanctuary. This collection is, we hope, sanctuary to those who feel they are not always represented in the fashion world. The simple, clean lines are drawn around the body to celebrate, empower and fortify the wearer.

Over the next week, I will deep dive into each design and how they work together as a unique yet easily worn capsule wardrobe.
