“Fashion fades, Style is eternal”

The Jazz Age
The 1920s, was it all jazz and sin or was it the decade we kinda ‘grew up’?
Style is what you make it, so make it InVintaged!
Have you ever found yourself sitting at a cafe watching people wander past and you catch yourself absent-mindedly thinking "What are they wearing?" There is nothing wrong with this, I find myself doing it more and more often and I can't help but look around and wonder what happened to the style of years gone by? My aim is to provide a classical style to the modern woman.
Here you will find a home dedicated to vintage inspired style. With 20 years experience in theatrical costuming, hair and makeup design, I hope to offer anything from 'how to's' on achieving looks for a range of eras, discussions on the history of costume, updates on the challenges I set myself (I love a good physical challenge!) costumes or new designs I am working on & anything else that may be new to the InVintaged world so join me on what I hope will be an exciting journey!
In today's world of fast and furious fashion trends, it is easy to forget that less is more and that the simple elegance of past eras can actually offer us a breath of fresh air. Between my own original designs and the vast array of vintage patterns, I have collected over the past 20 years I look forward to celebrating the 1920's through to the 1960s & offering new style options
'What goes around comes around'... there is no other place where that sentiment is more true than in the world of style and fashion!
