In navy pure wool with black velvet and gold button detail. There is nothing subtle about this suit, it looks as though the wearer has stepped straight out of the 1940's, especially when teamed with the right make up and the 'victory' rolls up style!
1940's hair & makeup
Make up of the period was reasonably subtle and pretty (possibly more so to do with the fact that women had limited access to products during the war years!) while the hair styles were a little more complicated, pin curls and victory rolls being very popular!
Despite the war we made do and subtle glamour was key!
1950's with a modern twist
The draped 50's blouse with a modern twist, worn over a modern mini... works perfectly!
1960's Dinner dress & tailored suit
The Man in the grey flannel suit mets Invintaged Miss! A great night out!
